He holds both a Master's and a Bachelor's degree in Electrical & Computer Engineering with a specialization in Power Systems & Energy from Sultan Qaboos University. Abdullah is a certified Energy Auditor by the Association of Energy Engineers (AEE) and the Authority for Public Services Regulation (APSR). He is also recognized as a Certified Consultant Engineer by the Oman Society of Engineers and is a Senior Member of the IEEE. Additionally, he is the Chair of the IEEE Power & Energy Society in Oman.
With over 15 years of combined experience in Power Engineering and Renewable Energy, Abdullah has worked across various sectors, including Government, Manufacturing, Industrial, Infrastructure, Oil & Gas, and Energy. His extensive expertise and leadership position him as a leading figure in the field, contributing to the advancement of energy solutions in Oman and beyond.
He was a member of the Decarbonisation Lab hosted by Vision Oman2040, MEM & Environment Authority which resulted in a Royal Directives by HM to achieve NetZero emissions by 2050.

Frank is an International Business and Economics scholar with extensive experience focusing on research methodology, organizational strategy, operational infrastructure, and complex strategic partnerships. Until 2020, Frank has served as faculty member at a leading national university in Qatar, where he conducted research and taught Logistics and Supply Chain Management with an emphasis on the global transportation industry.
In 2021, Frank returned to reassume a professorship at Anhalt University for Applied Sciences in Germany, where he had worked as Business Administration and Logistics Professor prior to his appointment in Qatar. During an eight-year tenure, he launched the university’s Master's program and a specialized research institute in Logistics, to which he additionally served as Director.

Dr. Eng. Mohamed Elkadragy is a distinguished expert in battery and renewable energy storage, with over 15 years of global experience spanning industrial leadership and applied R&D. His professional career journey has taken him across many entities and global companies within Germany, the MENA and Gulf regions, Canada, the USA, and Sub-Saharan Africa. Dr. Elkadragy earned his Ph.D. from the Battery Technical Center at KIT in Germany, in collaboration with the University of Waterloo in Canada. He holds an M.Sc.-Eng. in Renewable Energy from UOL in Germany, and a B.Sc.-Eng. in Electrical Engineering. Complementing his technical expertise, he also has a Battery MBA from the Battery Associates, and is a certified expert in climate and renewable energy finance from the Frankfurt School of Finance & Management, Germany. An active contributor to the field, Dr. Elkadragy is a member of the SAE International Battery Committee. He is also the founder of Taqa Bel-Arabi, the first professional educational platform dedicated to advancing knowledge and applications of battery and renewable energy storage, including stationary storage systems and electric vehicles.

Rashid Farivar (born 1982) holds a Licentiate of Engineering degree in Electrical Engineering from Chalmers University of Technology in Gothenburg, Sweden, with a specialization in semiconductor materials, electronic and optoelectronic devices, and integrated circuits. Since September 2022, he has served as a Member of the Swedish Parliament, actively contributing to the Committees on Transport and Communications, Environment and Agriculture, and Civil Affairs.
Prior to his parliamentary tenure, Rashid spent over a decade in the Swedish automotive industry, primarily at Volvo Cars, where he played a significant role in the company’s transition toward hybrid and fully electric vehicles. His work encompassed vehicle charging functions and user experience, regulatory compliance, internal combustion engine development and calibration, as well as the testing and verification of electrical and electronic systems and functions.
As one of the very few engineers to enter Swedish politics at the national level, Rashid brings a technical and analytical perspective to legislative work, particularly in shaping policies related to infrastructure, transportation, artificial intelligence, energy, and sustainability.

Baerte de Brey works at Stedin, a Dutch DSO. Responsible for analyzing the longterm effect of electric mobility on the electricity grids, Baerte helps building a sustainable business case around this transition. He graduated from Leiden University in 2001 with a law degree and received a MBA from Nyenrode Business University in 2006.
On behalf of Stedin, he is one of the executive board members of ElaadNL. ElaadNL is a collaboration of the Dutch DSO’s and the knowledge and innovation centre in the field of (smart) charging infrastructure. As an expert for the IEA and the European Commission he sometimes reviews collective European programs concerning EV interoperability and smart charging. Ahmed has a deep understanding of the clean energy and sustainable mobility sectors, having served as the Zero-Emission Vehicles (ZEV) Lead at the UN Climate Change High-Level Champions, where he promoted and advocated for the ZEV Declaration launched at COP26 in Glasgow.
